Press release: Pittsburgh Pirates and AT&T SportsNet partner to host 16th annual "Pirates Charities Game on AT&T SportsNet"

The Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirates Charities, in conjunction with AT&T SportsNet, have announced the “Pirates Charities Game on AT&T SportsNet” will take place on Sunday, July 30, when the Pirates host the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:35 p.m.

As part of the event, fans will have the opportunity to purchase this year’s Pirates Charities bag for a donation of $300, $600, or $1,000, benefitting the important work of Pirates Charities in our community. Each bag includes a number of Pirates-branded items and autographed memorabilia.

Fans can purchase bags online at pirates.com/charitygame or by calling 412-325-4888. Additionally, fans at the game on Sunday, July 30 will be able to purchase bags at the ballpark at the Skull Bar behind Section 101.

In addition to those items, the $600 Bag includes an authenticated home white jersey, autographed by Mitch Keller, David Bednar, or Ke’Bryan Hayes. The $1,000 Bag will include all the Pirates items listed above as well as an Andrew McCutchen autographed, authenticated City Connect jersey.

Fans will also have the chance to win a number of authenticated and autographed items from the July 30 game by purchasing entries in the Pirates Charities Game Authentics Raffle. Seven unique items from the Pirates and Phillies matchup with be authenticated and autographed after the game by select members of the Pirates organization, including all three bases and game-used balls. Proceeds from this year’s Pirates Charites Game on AT&T SportsNet will go toward the funding of unique programming and support of local organizations such as the nine Miracle Leagues supported by Pirates Charities. Spearheaded by Pirates Chairman, Bob Nutting, Pirates Charities’ support of the Miracle League dates back more than 15 years and has provided athletes with unique abilities throughout the region the opportunity to play the sport they love.
